Our editorial process begins with a distinct contractor question and a documented content brief. The brief identifies intent, audience, scope, overlapping queries, original-evidence requirement, sources, author, reviewer, images/tools, internal links, CTA destination, locale, and review date.
Evidence standards
Indexable pages must contribute original value: an annotated plan, controlled field example, calculation with inputs, reusable template, checklist, dataset, screenshot, comparison method, or documented expert commentary. Product behavior is described from versioned observation where possible and clearly separated from vendor claims or planned capability.
Technical and safety review
Fire/life safety, code, tax, privacy, legal, and jurisdictional material requires a named qualified reviewer, visible jurisdiction where relevant, and a review date. Every page distinguishes general documentation practice from project-specific requirements.
Corrections and updates
Published pages carry review dates and visible update notes when meaning changes. Corrections preserve accountability rather than silently rewriting material. Comparison inputs, versions, weights, limitations, and publisher relationships are disclosed.
