Low-voltage design resource

Restaurant Multi-Discipline Low-Voltage Plan Example

An original scenario combining security, access, intrusion, cabling, Wi-Fi, distributed audio, POS, VoIP, and smart-system coordination.

Example production brief — draft; the finished page requires an original, reviewable drawing set.

Scenario

Use a fictional restaurant with entrance/waiting, dining, bar or counter, kitchen, office, storage, restrooms, service areas, exterior approach, telecom/rack location, and defined operating assumptions.

Required drawing set

  • Clean architectural baseline and discipline-specific views.
  • Composite coordination view for cameras, selected access/intrusion points, data/Wi-Fi, audio, POS, voice, and smart/control elements.
  • Shared pathway, rack, network/PoE, power/UPS, ceiling, penetration, and service-access coordination.
  • Legends, device IDs, equipment/cable/port schedules, interface matrix, BOM reconciliation, and scope ownership.

Original value

Document at least five design decisions, three coordination conflicts, rejected alternatives, and the revision trail from survey assumptions to reviewed example. Provide accessible tables for information encoded visually.

Review

Label the scenario illustrative, remove sensitive data, and obtain discipline-specific review before publication.
