Equipment Schedules and Estimating Workflow

Turn reviewed plan data into disciplined equipment, cable, port, door, zone, and quantity schedules before pricing.

A reliable estimate begins with reconciled design information. This workflow stage connects plan symbols and identifiers to the schedules, dependencies, assumptions, allowances, and responsibilities that form a bill of materials.

Stage sequence

  1. Freeze the plan revision used for takeoff and record the source.
  2. Extract and reconcile device, cable/pathway, port, rack/panel, door/zone, and accessory quantities.
  3. Resolve dependencies, labor conditions, testing, programming, training, closeout, freight, spare/waste, and customer/other-party responsibilities.
  4. Separate base scope, options, alternates, allowances, exclusions, and unresolved conditions.
  5. Run independent count, model/dependency, and scope reviews before adding current pricing.

Stage output

Deliver versioned schedules, a BOM, assumptions/exclusions, review record, and a clear handoff into proposal preparation.
