A useful site survey produces a traceable project record: what was observed, what was measured, what the customer requested, what remains unknown, and who must resolve each open issue.
What to collect
- Scope, disciplines, spaces, users, operating conditions, stakeholders, and deliverables.
- Floor-plan or sketch sources, scale references, room names, ceiling and mounting conditions, equipment spaces, pathways, power/network dependencies, and access constraints.
- Ordered photographs and notes linked to rooms or plan markers.
- Existing equipment, customer-furnished systems, interfaces, exclusions, safety/privacy restrictions, and unanswered questions.
Stage output
